Your Questions, Answered

  • A doula provides continuous emotional, practical, and evidence-based support through pregnancy, birth, and the early weeks with your baby.

Doulas are not medically trained, so they do not give clinical advice. Instead, they share evidence-based information and clear, balanced guidance, helping you make decisions that feel right for you, your baby, and your family.

My role is to help you feel informed, steady, and supported at every stage.

Some people come to me feeling unsure or overwhelmed. Others simply want a calm, experienced presence alongside them. Whether you have a partner or are navigating this on your own, doula support offers continuity of care and someone who truly knows you, your preferences, and your journey.

You don’t need a doula. But many families choose one because they want to feel more supported, more confident, and less alone in the process.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call— I’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • Most people book a doula in the second trimester, but it is absolutely fine to book earlier or later depending on availability. The earlier you book, the more time we have for antenatal preparation and building continuity before birth. Some families also get in touch last minute and I will always do my best to support where possible.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs.

  • Not at all. My role is to support both of you. I help your partner feel more confident, involved, and able to support you in a way that works for you both.

Some partners want to be very hands-on, others feel unsure at first. I meet you where you are and help create a calm, connected team around you.

  • Absolutely. Whether it’s your first baby or your fourth, every birth and postnatal journey is unique. I adapt my support and packages to suit your needs. Some repeat parents prefer fewer antenatal sessions and more postnatal support, and I’m happy to tailor everything around what works best for you. So whether that’s helping you navigate new information as a first-time parent or providing confidence and reassurance if you’ve done this before.

  • Choosing a doula is personal, and it’s important you feel comfortable. My discovery calls are designed so we can get to know each other and see if we’re a good match. There’s no pressure- just an open chat about how I can support you and your family.

  • It starts with a free 30-minute discovery call where we chat about your needs and see if we’re the right fit. If you decide to go ahead, we’ll confirm your booking, plan your antenatal sessions, and begin working together to prepare for birth and beyond.

  • My packages are designed to fit different needs and budgets, starting as low as £700 for online only support.

All packages include a short introductory chat so we can talk through what’s right for you. If it feels like a good fit, please get in touch- everything is a conversation, and I’m happy to tailor support to your needs and preferences.

  • I’m based in Maidenhead, and work with families within around a one-hour travel radius.

Examples of areas I cover include Windsor, Ealing and Chiswick in West London, and Surrey areas such as Kingston, Guildford, Cobham and Woking.

If you’re unsure whether I cover your area, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to check availability.

  • If you’re further out, I may still be able to support you, depending on location and availability. I also offer virtual antenatal and postnatal sessions if in-person support isn’t possible.
